We are always so grateful for the amazing opportunities we can offer students through our GHS and MVMS Youth Forums and this month is no exception. Over the weekend of May 5-7, 10 Goffstown students in grades 8 through 11 were able to participate in an intense CADCA Youth Leadership Training offered in partnership with DEA360, Makin’ It Happen and WMUR. From that training, 5 GHS students and Guidance Counselor John Webb were chosen to be part of the youth-led Town Hall Meeting addressing the opiate epidemic that was then televised on WMUR. To say that our kids were impressive is an understatement. They were poised, articulate, thoughtful – just fabulous and we couldn’t be prouder!
