Crispin’s House is excited to welcome Peter Grigorakakis to our team as our VolunTeens Program Director Peter has extensive experience working in volunteer coordination having served as the manager for the Manchester VISTA Project, now housed under Families in Transition and, most recently, as the Executive Director of the Goffstown Main Street Program. Out of college, Peter spent two years serving as an Americorps VISTA volunteer with the Manchester Housing & Redevelopment Authority working with families of diverse backgrounds and at-risk youth. During his time with MHRA, he started an academic support center in one of Manchester’s public housing communities which served upwards of 50 students per day and trained countless college and high school volunteers to work with the students. Peter believes very strongly in the power of service to strengthen community and bring about positive change in the individual who serves. He looks forward to bringing this passion for service to our VolunTeens program.
Peter lives in Goffstown with his wife, Cindy Rizza, and their two year old daughter. Please reach out to him with any potential service opportunities or if you would like to serve as one of our team of high school or middle school VolunTeens. More info at: crispinshouse.org/programs/volunteens/
